Knitting olympics

I am doing the beaded socks from the Six Socks Knit Along. I know they are top down and not my usual thing so that along with the beads I felt qualified for a challenging project. I have strung the beads and am just waiting until Friday to start.

Sounds plenty challenging to me! I have to figure out which provisional cast on to use and practice it. Also need to revisit my swatch...
